Meet the Team

Cathy is a student-centered professional with over twenty-four years of experience advising students and alumni in the areas of career exploration and development, interview and networking skills, and internship and job preparedness.

Cathy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Science in Counselor Education from Hofstra University, equipping her with a strong foundation to support and empower individuals in their professional journeys.

I am here to help students in all aspects of career preparation from resumes, interview prep and career search. My specialty is health careers, and I am excited to work with students looking to pursue professional school to become a Doctor, Physical Therapist, Vet, Dentist, or any of the other over 80 professional health careers possibilities.

Caroline currently serves as the Student Employment Coordinator for on-campus departments/offices, along with Randolph-Macon’s community partners. She started working for Randolph-Macon at the beginning of 2024 and is excited to help both students and employers in all aspects of student employment!

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Radford University.

Ben brings over 38 years of experience in the IT and staffing industries to his role. With a distinguished background as the former CEO and President of a nationwide technology staffing firm, he excels in building and nurturing relationships with external companies to secure both full-time and internship opportunities. Ben is dedicated to helping students enhance their interviewing skills, refine their resumes, and bolster their social media presence, all while preparing them for successful transitions from college to their careers.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.
